Such smart readers – you all know more than the employees at the restaurant where I ate these. (they called them lychee!)
I think that is a Rambutan.

It is a Rambutan, a tropical fruit grown in Thailand, Malaysia and other tropical countries. Also called the hairy Lychee. DO I WIN A PRIZE?
The prize is knowing that you are correct!
Rambutan, from the Phillipines, Thailand, SE Asia, as common there as apples are to us in the USA>
A little more complicated to eat, perhaps, than an apple. But quite lovely.
It is the Einsteinaloupe, known for its shaggy, omnidirectional “hairy” outer spines and its white translucent, and oh so sweet cerebral cortex inside.
Wrong, but definitely the most creative answer by a long shot. If I was giving out prizes, you’d get one for best comic answer for sure!
