Harissa Chicken w Preserved Lemon


If you're short on time but love big flavor, this sheet pan dinner is the perfect solution. Store-bought or homemade, harissa and preserved lemons are hard to beat!

Here are the ingredients you need for the sauce, which is so simple but imparts so much flavor to the chicken & veggies!

While the oven preheats, mix the sauce ingredients: preserved lemons, harissa, olive oil, lemon juice and black pepper.


Chop vegetables to equal-cooking-size pieces, and place the chicken and vegetables on a parchment-lined sheet tray.


Use a basting brush or your hands to spread the harissa preserved lemon sauce all over the chicken and vegetables.


Place in the oven, set the timer for 5 minutes BEFORE the expected finish to check for doneness. Remove any veggies or chicken that's already cooked.


While it’s cooking, make the yogurt sauce with preserved and fresh lemon juice and parsley. Taste and adjust seasonings.
